|Pamela Davis-Lumley is an international award-winning artist known for her sensitive portrayals of animals (especially horses) people and aviation. Her style of classic realism, based on the Old Masters, has attracted clients from Chevron Oil to owners of champion horses and dogs. Both her equine and aviation art have won international awards in a variety of mediums, including traditional oil painting, charcoal, pastel and Chinese brush painting.
Her experience as a professional horsewoman is reflected in her work, showing insight into the qualities unique to each breed, and each individual personality. As a photo-journalist, she covered Olympic Equestrian Events.
Her paintings are in collections across the U.S. and abroad, including the permanent collection of the International Museum of the Horse. Her aviation art has been exhibited at the Canada National Aviation Museum, and aviation museums across the US.
